What is option depth flow?

Option Depth Flow is a strike-by-time dealer map for one ticker. Metric starts on GEX. View starts on Bubble. Mode starts on Cumulative. Timeframe starts on 5m. Strikes starts on 10. Search ticker, pick Expiration, then GO. Green is positive. Red is negative. It is a map, not a trade.

Gamma Exposure is a strike table you search by ticker. Market Maker Exposure is SPX only, with Flip Level as a card. Market Cross Flow is locked to SPY, SPXW, and QQQ. There is no ticker search there. Greeks Heatmap is a strike by expiration grid. This page is one ticker you type in Search ticker. Time runs left to right. Strike Price runs up and down. Candles sit on the same Time axis. Metric starts on GEX. VEX, CEX, DEX, and GRAVITY are the other Metric choices. View starts on Bubble. Gradient is the other view. Mode starts on Cumulative. Non-Cumulative is the other. Timeframe starts on 5m. 1m is not available in Gradient. Strikes starts on 10. Expiration picks one listed date. Green is positive. Red is negative. A loud strike can still be a hedge, a spread, or a dealer book. None of those dots is an order.

On EZPZ, the live page title is Option Depth Flow. The ticker line starts on SPY plus last price. Search ticker and GO load the name. How Option Depth Flow works on EZPZ

Search a ticker, leave Metric on GEX, leave View on Bubble, then read the candles against the loudest strike row. It is not a score. Most people leave Mode on Cumulative and Timeframe on 5m. If one strike stays loud while price walks through it, scan that row left to right. Change View to Gradient only if you want a continuous heat map. Change Metric only if you want VEX, CEX, DEX, or GRAVITY instead of GEX.

How this differs from Market Cross Flow

Market Cross Flow is locked to SPY, SPXW, and QQQ. Chart picks which of those three owns the candles. This page has Search ticker. Time is the x axis. Strike Price is the y axis. Use Market Cross Flow when you want those three names side by side. Use this page when you want one ticker through the session. Use Gamma Exposure when you want the strike table with Call Wall and Put Wall. Use Market Maker Exposure when you want SPX Flip Level, Call Wall, Put Wall, and Expected Move(VEM) and DEM. Use Greeks Heatmap when you want strike by expiration, not strike by time. Use GEX Heatmap when you want GEX only plus GEX Details. Use Ticker Explorer when you want GEX and DEX charts next to quote and unusual activity. Use Largest Premium By Tickers when you still need a name from Bullish Flow or Bearish Flow. Use Index Trader when you want traffic lights. Use Top 20 Optionable when you want Vol. * Price rank. Use Market Wave when you want Current Day Net Call Premium versus Net Put Premium. Use Net Flow Graph when you want Filter ticker plus Cumulative Volume Delta. Use Historical Net Premium when you want the 15D table. Use 0DTE Graph when you want same-day premium. Use Weekly-DTE Graph when you want Friday. Use 7-DTE Graph when you want the next 7 days. Use Supply and Demand X-ray when you want Price, Supply, and Demand on each contract. Use Money Sentiment when you want Bought Ratio and Net Sentiment. Use Net Premium Heatmap when you want the strike-by-expiration grid. Use Movers and Shakers Tide when you want the 18-name basket. Use Live Flow when you want the prints. Use Option Chain when you want the listed book.

Anatomy of the depth chart

You do not need every control on every session. Use the tabs if you want a map of the fields.

These controls change the map. They do not score it.

ControlWhat you are looking at
MetricGEX starts selected. VEX, CEX, DEX, and GRAVITY are the other choices.
ViewBubble starts selected. Gradient is the other view.
ModeCumulative is the default. Non-Cumulative is the other view.
TimeframeCandle size. 5m starts selected. 1m, 10m, 15m, and 30m are the other choices. 1m is not available when View is Gradient.
StrikesHow many strikes around last price. 10 is the default. Options are 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 15, and 20.
ExpirationOne listed date. The screenshot uses 2026-09-21, not a blended book.
Search ticker GOType a symbol, then GO. The ticker line shows that name plus last price.

Bubble is the default View. Each dot is one strike at one Time bucket.

On the chartWhat you are looking at
CandlesPrice for the searched ticker, bucketed by Timeframe.
Green dotsPositive exposure at a strike over the session for the selected Metric and Mode.
Red dotsNegative exposure at a strike over the same session.
Dot sizeLarger dots are louder readings. Smaller dots are quieter ones.
Time / Strike PriceTime is the x axis. Strike Price is the y axis on the right.

Gradient is the other View. Same data, drawn as a continuous heat map.

On the chartWhat you are looking at
Color bandsPositive bands use the green scale. Negative bands use the Metric color. GRAVITY negative reads gold.
ColorbarSits on the left. The label follows Mode, such as Cumulative GRAVITY.
1mNot offered in Gradient. Switching into Gradient while on 1m moves Timeframe to 5m.

Gradient view

View on Gradient keeps Metric, Mode, Timeframe, Strikes, and Expiration. It is still one ticker and one listed date. Use it when discrete dots feel too sparse. Keep Bubble when you want each Time bucket as its own marker.

When Gradient helps

  • You want a continuous band instead of separate dots.
  • You already picked GRAVITY, VEX, CEX, or DEX and want the colorbar on the left.
  • 5m or slower is enough. You do not need 1m.

When to stay on Bubble

  • You want 1m Timeframe.
  • You want each strike and time bucket as its own marker.
  • You are still learning the chart and want GEX dots first.

Filters on this page

How people actually use it

Read last price, then the loud row

Check the ticker line. Find the candles. Scan the green or red row that stays loud against that path before you hunt far from spot.

Leave GEX, Bubble, and Cumulative on

Most sessions start on GEX, Bubble, Cumulative, and 5m. Change Metric only when you want a different greek. Change View only when you want Gradient.

Search a ticker, not a universe

This page is one name. Type it in Search ticker, pick Expiration, then GO. Market Cross Flow stays locked to SPY, SPXW, and QQQ.

Use it next to the table and the tape

This page is the strike-by-time chart. Open Gamma Exposure if you want the strike table. Open Live Flow if a strike makes you want the prints.

Frequently asked questions

What is option depth flow?

How do you read Bubble and Gradient on EZPZ?

How is Option Depth Flow different from Market Cross Flow?
Market Cross Flow has no ticker search. Chart is SPY, SPXW, or QQQ. The grid always shows all three next to candles. Option Depth Flow has Search ticker. Time is the x axis. Strike Price is the y axis. Use the three name map when you want those names side by side. Use this page when you want one ticker through the session.
Does a green dot predict where the ticker will go?
No. A green or red reading describes exposure on the selected Metric and Expiration. It is not a forecast. News and a strong trend can run through a loud strike. Treat the chart as context, not an order.
Who can access Option Depth Flow?
You need Premium or higher for this page. There is no delayed public version of these charts.
How can AiPe help?
AiPe on this page follows the Metric you picked. Ask it about positive and negative zones, where the loudest strike sits versus last price, or how Bubble compares with Gradient on the same session.
