What is Short Extremes Short Score?

Short Extremes Short Score is a ranked table of stocks by Short Score. On EZPZ the live page title is Short Extremes. Rank starts at 1. Each row is one Symbol with Utilization, Official Short Interest %, Day To Cover, and Cost To Borrow. It is a rank, not a squeeze list.

Short Score is the default sort, shown as a percent. Rank 1 is the highest Short Score among names that cleared Short Interest Above, Market Cap Above, Average Volume Above, and Relative Volume Above. Utilization, Official Short Interest %, Day To Cover, and Cost To Borrow sit on the same row. Price Change%(1W) and Price Change%(3m) print green when the name is up and red when it is down. EPS 12mFwd Change, Market Cap, Upside TP %, Availability, Number of Analysts, EMA 200 %, and Gamma Squeeze Score (%) start on. The screenshot ranks BTC first at Short Score 100% with Utilization 100%, Official Short Interest % 29%, Day To Cover 1, and Cost To Borrow 623%. DAIC sits second at Short Score 100% with Official Short Interest % 32% and Cost To Borrow 705%. NWGL prints Cost To Borrow 1173% and still sits fifth because Short Score is the sort. Gamma Squeeze Score (%) is a dash on those rows. None of those cells is a fill.

On EZPZ, the live page title is Short Extremes. The Learn title is ShortEx. Search Symbol, The Latest Date, Apply, Reset, and Filter Columns sit on the first row. Short Interest Above starts at 0%. Market Cap Above starts at 0. Average Volume Above starts at 0M. Relative Volume Above starts at 0%. Optionable starts off. Click a Symbol to open that ticker's Short Interest page. Short Interest is the one-ticker history after you already picked a name. Short Interest Leaderboard ranks many names from Official Short Interest %, starting at 8%, 5M, and 1M. Short Volume is the daily short-sale share of volume, not Short Score. Short Volume Trends charts that daily percent over time. Exchange Volume Leaderboard ranks off-exchange share of volume, not short interest. Exchange Volume is the venue mix for one ticker. Gamma Short Squeeze is Squeeze Score(%) next to Gamma Pressure and Short Interest(%). Ticker Explorer is the one-symbol dashboard after you already picked a name.

How ShortEx works on EZPZ

Start at Rank 1 on Short Score, then read Utilization, Official Short Interest %, Day To Cover, and Cost To Borrow on the same row. It is not a score you trade. Type a ticker in Search Symbol and click Apply when you already have a name. Open Filter Columns if you want Call ITM, Put/Call Ratio, Gamma Pressure, or Date. Reset puts the sliders back to 0%, 0, 0M, and 0%. Do not treat BTC as a default thesis.

How people actually use it

Start on Short Score

Leave the sort on Short Score first, as in the screenshot with BTC at 100%. Click Day To Cover or Cost To Borrow when you want a different rank of the same names.

Watch the color on price

Red Price Change%(1W) is a down week. Green is an up week. BTC at -23.18% is not the same row as DAIC at 94.85%.

Raise the 0% floors

Short Interest Above, Market Cap Above, Average Volume Above, and Relative Volume Above all start at zero. Move them up if the first page is too thin.

Open the one-ticker page

Click Symbol for Short Interest. Use Short Interest Leaderboard when you want Official Short Interest % first. Use Gamma Short Squeeze when you want Squeeze Score(%) as the rank.

Frequently asked questions

What is Short Extremes Short Score?
Short Extremes Short Score is a ranked table of stocks by Short Score. On EZPZ, the live page title is Short Extremes and the Learn title is ShortEx. Rank 1 is the highest Short Score among names that clear Short Interest Above 0%, Market Cap Above 0, Average Volume Above 0M, and Relative Volume Above 0%. It is a rank, not a squeeze list.
How do you use Short Interest Above and the other sliders?
Short Interest Above starts at 0%, Market Cap Above at 0, Average Volume Above at 0M, and Relative Volume Above at 0%. The sliders reload as you move them. Search Symbol needs Apply. Changing The Latest Date reloads the table. Optionable reloads when you check it. Reset restores those defaults and clears Search Symbol.
How is this different from Short Interest Leaderboard?
Short Interest Leaderboard ranks Official Short Interest % and starts at 8%, 5M, and 1M. This page ranks Short Score and starts at 0%, 0, 0M, and 0%. Short Interest is the one-ticker history after you already picked a Symbol. Gamma Short Squeeze ranks Squeeze Score(%). This table keeps Gamma Squeeze Score (%) as a column, not the sort.
Does Rank 1 mean a squeeze is starting?
No. Rank 1 on Short Score means that name had the highest Short Score on this load after the sliders. Cost To Borrow and Gamma Squeeze Score (%) on the same row are still two clocks. Official short interest is a settlement snapshot. Size the trade yourself.
What does Filter Columns change?
Filter Columns shows or hides table fields. Rank and Symbol stay on. Call ITM, Call OTM, Put ITM, Put OTM, Call Float Pressure, and Date start off. Short Score, Utilization, Official Short Interest %, Day To Cover, Cost To Borrow, Gamma Squeeze Score (%), Call Ratio, Put Ratio, Put/Call Ratio, and Gamma Pressure start on. Hiding a field does not change the sort.
Who can access ShortEx?
You need Premium or higher for the live page. A delayed public version still works without a paid plan. Click a Symbol to open that ticker's Short Interest page.
