What is $1M plus options flow?

$1M plus options flow is the live tape of listed options prints where the premium already clears one million dollars. Premium is the option price times contracts times 100. The public tape is mostly smaller prints. This view keeps only the large-premium rows.

Reading a row is the same job as any live options tape. Premium and size tell you whether enough capital moved to care, though every row here already cleared one million dollars. Side tells you whether the fill leaned toward the ask, the bid, or the middle. Order tags describe how it executed, not why. Expiration and how far the strike sits from the underlying tell you whether the activity is short-dated and tactical or further out.

A million-dollar premium can come from a lot of cheaper contracts or from fewer expensive ones. Repeated large prints on the same ticker in a short window are usually a stronger prompt than a single row. Size still does not tell you who traded, or whether it was a hedge, a spread leg, or a directional bet.

On EZPZ, $1M Plus Flow is that tape with the floor already locked. The live page is titled 1M+ Premium Flow. Filters start at $1,000,000 of premium, and the drawer says Min $1M is fixed for this view. You can raise the floor. You cannot lower it. Live Flow is the full tape. Unusual Activity keeps only large, sweep, and block prints. Unusual Activity Intraday is the session scan with a date range. 0DTE Flow keeps only prints that expire today. SPX and SPY Flow locks the same tape to SPX, SPXW, and SPY. Option Chain is the contract book for one ticker, not the tape.

How $1M Plus Flow works on EZPZ

Each row is one print that already cleared one million dollars of premium: the contract, the size, and the tags that describe how it traded. It is not a score. Most people start with ticker, SIDE, C/P, and TYPE. If a row looks interesting, read DTE, OTM, and DIRECTION next. When even this list is too much, filter to a ticker you already care about, turn Normal off, or raise the premium floor.

How this differs from Live Flow

Live Flow is the full tape. Its premium floor starts around $20,000, and you can lower it. This page cannot go below $1,000,000. Use Live Flow when you want the quieter prints around a standout. Use this page when you only want million-dollar premium. Use Unusual Activity when you only want Large, Sweep, and Block, even if the premium is smaller. Use 0DTE Flow when you only want prints that expire today. Use SPX and SPY Flow when you only care about S&P 500 positioning. Use Option Chain when you want the listed strikes, not the prints.

Anatomy of a print

Read a row left to right: when it printed, what traded, then how it was executed. You do not need every column on every print. Use the tabs if you want a map of the fields.

These columns answer what printed, and when.

ColumnWhat you are looking at
TIMEWhen the print hit the tape.
TICKERThe underlying. Click it to open that name's option chain on EZPZ. Search ticker lives in the toolbar too.
SIDEASK, BID, or MID. That is where the fill sat versus the quote.
STRIKE C/PStrike price, and whether it is a CALL or a PUT.
EXPIRATION DTEExpiration date and days left. A 0 here is usually same-day (0DTE) activity.

These columns help you decide how the million-dollar print was built.

ColumnWhat you are looking at
SIZEHow many contracts printed. A small size with huge premium is usually an expensive contract.
PREMIUMDollar premium. Every row here is already at least $1M. Raise the floor if the list is still noisy.
VOLUMEVolume on that contract.
OTM(%)How far the strike is from the underlying, as a percent.
BID-ASK SPOTThe quoted spread, and the option fill on the row.
STOCKThe underlying price at the print. Index names can show $0.00 here.
FILL VS SPREADA bar showing where the fill landed in the spread. Green leans toward the ask. Red leans toward the bid.

Tags describe the print. They do not score it, and they do not tell you the trader's reason.

ColumnWhat you are looking at
ORDERExtra markers when we have them, like LATE or LARGE.
TYPEHow the print was classified when we have it: Floor, Sweep, or Cross. Normal does not show a badge.
DIRECTIONBullish, bearish, or neutral label on the row.

Filter the tape

Click Filters in the toolbar. That drawer is how you cut a million-dollar tape down to a watchlist name, a sweep hunt, or an even higher floor. Reset puts the defaults back, including the $1M minimum.

The Filters drawer. Direction and order type first, then min and max fields. Min $1M is fixed.

Toggles

  • Option type: Calls and puts, on or off independently. Scroll up in the drawer if you do not see it yet.
  • Direction: Bullish, bearish, and neutral row labels.
  • Order type: Normal, Floor, Sweep, and Cross. Turn Normal off if you only want classified prints.

Ranges

  • Search ticker: Limit the tape to one underlying. The same search also lives in the toolbar.
  • Premium: Min starts at 1000000. The helper text says Min $1M is fixed for this view. Max can stay empty (shown as infinity).
  • Strike, volume, size, spot, DTE, OTM (%): Min and max. Leave a field empty and there is no cap on that side (shown as infinity).

On the toolbar you can also change how many rows you see (50 is a common setting, up to 500), which columns are visible, and the text size with A- / A+.

Stay live

The right side of the toolbar is a single switch:

  • Live: newer matching prints can show up during market hours.
  • Paused: the tape freezes so a row does not scroll away while you read it.

There is no Prev / Next on this page. If you pause, you are sitting with the rows already on screen.

How people actually use it

Watch the biggest prints

Leave ticker search empty. Keep Live on. You are listening for size across the whole market, not one name.

Watch one name, still $1M

Filter to a ticker already on your radar. The floor stays at one million. You will not see the smaller prints around it here.

Hunt sweeps in size

Turn Normal off. Leave Sweep on. Raise the premium floor if even $1M is too noisy.

Use it next to the full tape

This page is the million-dollar slice. Open Live Flow if a row makes you want the quieter prints around it. Open Unusual Activity for large, sweep, and block across every premium.

Frequently asked questions

What is $1M plus options flow?
$1M plus options flow is the live tape of listed options prints where the premium already clears one million dollars. Premium is the option price times contracts times 100. On EZPZ, the live page is titled 1M+ Premium Flow, and that million-dollar floor is fixed.
How do you read $1M plus flow on EZPZ?
Start with ticker, SIDE, C/P, PREMIUM, TYPE, and DIRECTION. Every row already cleared one million dollars, so next look at DTE, OTM, and whether it was a sweep or a floor print. Filter to a ticker or raise the premium floor when you want a shorter list.
How is $1M Plus Flow different from Live Flow?
Live Flow is the full tape, with a default premium floor around $20,000 that you can lower. $1M Plus Flow uses the same row layout with a fixed $1,000,000 floor you cannot lower. Unusual Activity keeps only Large, Sweep, and Block. SPX and SPY Flow locks the tape to SPX, SPXW, and SPY.
Can I lower the premium floor below one million dollars?
No. Filters start at $1,000,000, and the drawer says Min $1M is fixed for this view. You can raise the floor or set a max. Use Live Flow if you want smaller prints.
Who can access $1M Plus Flow?
You need Pro or higher to open the live page. There is no delayed public version of this tape.
What do SIDE, ORDER, TYPE, and DIRECTION mean?
SIDE is ASK, BID, or MID. ORDER is an extra tag when we have it, like LATE or LARGE. TYPE is the print classification when we have it, like Floor. DIRECTION is the bullish, bearish, or neutral label on the row.
Why one million dollars specifically?
It is a round, easy to reason about threshold that flow traders use to isolate size. It is not a statistically special number. Some people still raise the floor above one million when even this list is noisy.
How can AiPe help?
AiPe can see the rows on screen and your current filters. Ask it to explain a column, summarize the million-dollar tape, or change many of the filters for you.
